That fool Odysseus worked so hard to get his prophecy told to him by Tiresias. That mortal should know better then to seek his future. When they got to the island where Helios homes his cattle I had already known what was going to happen. Odysseus told them not to slaughter the cows or the end of their trip would be soon. Then he did something none should do. He left his men and went inland! What kind of an idiot would do that. His men lead by Eurylochus slaughtered the cows to offer to Helios. Even I would be angry if mortals did that to my cattle although I do not have any. They expect to be safe after sacrificing what does not even belong to them. I decide to relax and have some fun watching the sacrifice. When Helios comes enraged about what the mortals have done. I can do nothing but cower to his greatness. He tells Zeus that if they did not suffer he will go to the underworld and shine his light there. Zeus had cleared the sky making the mortals believe that is was safe enough to leave. But when they left her threw lightning bolts down unto Odysseus’ ship destroying it all! I Hephaestus the god of craftsmanship did not just make his bolts for murder humans! Odysseus made a small raft out of leftover pieces from the ship. Quite clever for a mortal but I am positive that I could have done much better then he had. He had floated past Scylla with the help of Zeus. Not to talk against my father but how could he destroy Odysseus’ ship murder his men then save him from death?
